Front and reverse side of advertising card sent from Taipei to Russell Crowe care of his mid-north coast NSW farm.
At what must have been a fair investment of time and thought , Mr. Crowe’s personal assistant located the sender by phone book (no postal address had been given) and offered to send, as a gift, this personally signed postcard.
This happened several months after the original postage. PROOF Mr Russell Crowe is more of a gentleman than many imagine.

Main entrance is to the far left of this picture.
Good 3-screen cinema located in ChangAn Road East (near Fuxhing Road North). Movies NOT advertised in the English newspapers. Internet site was not working yesterday. A pity as this is a super cinema with lower prices and latest releases. Highly recommended by this writer. Nearest MRT station Nanjing Road East.
Governor Cinema, Taipei (does not advertise in English).
Good concept, SIn City 2 falls down by the end. Worth viewing just the same. Note opening date on the poster, August 29th (2014).
A former Taipei cinema entrance. Downstairs has been converted into a dance studio. April 2014.
Entrance to front and back stalls of a former Taipei suburban cinema. (April 2014).
Old cinema converted into a modern dance studio for the over-40s. Taipei’s Da Dao Cheng suburb – an old area for tea exporting near the river. Dancing today in the former cinema downstairs formerly known as ‘front and back’ stalls. Some remnants of the former theatre exist elsewhere. Appears to have opened about 80 years ago during the Japanese era. Quite a visual treasure we’ll attempt to document, perhaps next week. Admission for dancing NT$150 less for ladies.
